BIG NEWS!!!!

Workshops will be part of individual classes and will be facilitated by ACTRA, IATSE, CAEA, members only. Too Medical, vocal experts – U.K trained (ACTRA,CAEA), Olympic Athletes (ACTRA), and Competitive dancers (ACTRA) will participate as needed, producers (ACTRA/IATSE) with marvellous theatrical releases and casting directors will add to the oodles of excellence at Freedom Tech Production.

 Professional ACTRA, SAG, AFTRA actors will visit for dialogues about career development. Too, a wee skype to the head of Telefilm is on target so you can learn the industry from the very top.

 Here in Freedom Tech we DO NOT work with non-professionals in any area.

 As a final note actors will be invited to industry events as our guests when V.I.P tickets are available.

As of Dec. 20 2012, Freedom Tech Production will be welcoming a full-time film acting teacher, complete with tried curricula. The instructor currently works for Freedom Tech Production and Zocalo Film but has opted to resign from the latter.

Marketing for FILM CLASSES have now started and we are close to filling up all classes..

Class costs will be very AFFORDABLE for ALL; in the spirit of the original Theatre Zocalo. A semester or yearly schedule which will be pro-rated will become available.

Too, in 2013 Freedom Tech will also introduce a DANCE FOR ACTORS class as well as our NEW singing coach. One of Canada's top speech teachers will also join the staff for workshops. A physical therapist will be introduced to assess problems in order to facilitate mobility.

From our New Film Teacher:

Dear Students/Clients

It is with bitter sweet that I have opted to resign from teaching, developing curricula, utilizing my 25+ years of existing film curricula and offering my wee studio/equipment to Zocalo Film Studios.
I will finish Term I, and thus our relationship of teacher et al / boss is at an end.

It has been a delightful experience offering my skill set and studio to Zocalo Film. Now our educational experiences and development dreams are at an impasse and thus my resignation. They cannot meet my needs as a teacher.

Classes will be indeed be in effect for Term II and Term III though Freedom Tech Production; Mel Hough sole Proprietor.

The cost will be much reduced. The visiting/guest lecturers will remain in place with the addition of many others. These sessions will be included in the cost of the class.
